i've been wondering lately, don't know why but i have, about the role noise plays in a scene. i am not talking about external noise from outside what is immediately going on, rather i am thinking specifically about sounds from the sub involved and how it adds to a Dominant's experience. Now i know that every good Dom/me will be listening to their sub's reactions to guage levels of coping and limits etc etc but i am not talking about simple safety precautions. i am wondering how many D's need or want their subs to make noises because it heightens their experience of the scene. Sometimes Master tells me not to make a sound, something i find hard to do, but generally i know He likes to hear my reactions to what He is doing. So, what about everyone else? Do you need to hear your sub's reactions in order to get the most out of your scene? Is it something that without, it would spoil things? Do you enjoy it all regardless?

I'm the opposite; I prefer subs I play with not to bother with the stoic silence thing - I could spank a pillow if that's what I wanted. If they're too noisy or seem to be making noises just for the sake of it (for effect), they're told to be silent. If they're silent, without being told to be, I suspect they're not getting the most out of the experience... however, what I do is for my pleasure so who gives a s**t?  | ||

I am a sub, but I like noise from my partner as much as I like making it. Sex is a sensory experience (although games where you stay quiet for fear of punishment are fun too). However.
