Anyone who uses an epilator for the first time on their fanny should have their inner labia ripped off. That'll larn em. I use an epilator every other day. It's painless. As people who do bdsm know, your reaction to any pain wears off pretty quickly the more often you do it, you build up a tolerance. Suprising eh? And I don't use it on my flaps. H waxes those. Ah! You big wusses! Epilators aren't all that painful - even "down there" so long as you don't get caught in the rollers (yup - been there done that too. Not fun)!!!  Actually, it hurts like hell the first few times but you do get used to it. Also the more the hairs get epilated/plucked, the easier they come out the follicles so less painful. I find it more painful to epilate under my arms, but even that's bearable now. The other reason it might have hurt @Blackened so much is if used on body hair that is a little longer than say stubbly length, the hairs can actually be too long, and rather than being plucked in a tweezer like motion, they are effectively being ripped out but not by the roots. That will hurt more. You didn't say if you were trimmed before having that hair removed, but yeah, removing longer pubic hair will hurt like a bitch if epilated. You poor thing. I remember seeing a guy that was strapped down to a bench and having his back hair epilated at Club Subversion during play once (about a year ago). I'll bet that hurt like hell!
