How important are costumes for you as part of domination and submission? A costume in this instance could be something as simple as a pair of high-heeled boots or as elaborate as a full rubber costume, military uniform, masks etc. As a Domme do you like to dress for the part, as it were, in order to emphasise the experience and your position of authority; or are you equally as happy exerting your authority over your sub while dressed in more vanilla everyday wear? For the subs do you like to be dressed in a particular way as part of your submission (and do you prefer the Domme to make the decision for you), or is there a particular style or costume you like your Domme to wear during the scene? I appreciate there is no right or wrong answer for this; I'm just interested in different points of view as to how it impacts on the overall experience. A good sub should be obscene and not heard! |

Uniforms do it foor me on my partner and on myself. The whole dressing up part of play is an important part of my own head space. Preening, feeling good, a new outfit, shoes, look all assist in developing the right mental state for play. I like to look as smart as I can and then to be stripped and beaten like a dog just works for me. My dream scene (suspension crucifixion) has very very exact dress code from sandals, cross to thorn crown.
I also love the look of uniforms on other people male and female my military background probably has something to do with this although Latex uniforms are second to none especialy on female dommes Its the one area of BDSM im realy suprised but glad its developed in the way it has for me. Didnt think I would get into the whole dressing up part as much, but its also an opportunity for me to get added attention so maybe thats the reason? I love costumes and uniforms of whatever kind. They are not 100% necessary, but they are hot. |

No role for me. Naked works really rather well. Skin on skin. Teeth on skin. Nails on skin. Various orifices tested and sampled. Maybe in the woods, up against a tree, few words for embellishment. Maybe a bit of dirt, a handful of pine needles for adornment. Bit more....substance to it for me, without the costumery.

For me its not needed but it does make it good. Love the feel of dressing to please Him. Getting ready for the club or a scene putting on what He has told me too or maybe choosing something as a surprise and seeing His face is a major turn on too. And shoes, ooh yeah love my heels. Just as long as its not beige, no more beige pleeeeeeeeeeease!! lily |

I don't feel "the need" to dress to dominate but I sometimes have "the want" to do so.

It's not so much what the submissive is wearing (unless I have specified) as there's usually travel involved. I find that starting by getting them to strip fully in front of me, then dress as I have chosen. Can leave them feeling exposed and vunerable, shy when they are not normally, and happy that they know they are pleasing me.

I'm dominant regardless of what I'm wearing...jeans and a shirt or a little black dress and heels. It's more a state of mind for me than looking the part. |

Not for me. I do dress to please as my Dom likes the visual aspect of it, but as far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter what he wears, and there is no particular clothing that it gets me off to wear. I'm more interested in how it feels, than looks. subbie xxx |

Sir and I both love dressing up and making the effort. We find it really enhances the scene. If something is worth doing, its worth doing well. It does take alot of effort, but its worth it in the end and adds to the discipline part. pollyx |
