"an act which results, or is likely to result, in serious injury to a person's anus, breasts or genitals"... Proceedings for an offence under this section may not be instituted—(a) in England and Wales, except by or with the consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions" Has anyone else thought that the blanket vagueness of this statement really could include: Eating an extraordinarily hot curry Childbirth Breastfeeding

Yes, but there are other requirements such as that it was made sexually to excite and is disgusting and a few other things. The example I sometimes use is cutting the vagina in a difficult childbirth. If the photograph is in a medical textbook it is not caught. If someone gets off on looking at pictures like that and he makes his own collection by scanning photos from medical textbooks or even making a photo when his wife gives birth and he made the image sexually to excite himself that same normally lawful image because of the purpose for which he made it becomes unlawful. (breastfeeding doesn't injure breasts)

I'll give you childbirth, but I doubt the other pair meet the keyword of serious. I stared into the abyss, the abyss stared into me. It blinked first. |
