We dont go to Swingers clubs. Nothing against it per se, we just dont want to do it. We do not want to go to a "Posers Palace" where the outfits people are wearing are more important than the people themselves(ie "Look at me"), and we also want to be able to play without being the stage show.

When down South, We had the resources to be able to attend the various clubs and form our own opinions. One of the clubs we frequented changed tack from fetish to swinging, so we stopped going. We are unable to do that up here so we welcome genuine and honest OPINIONS from all to see if any can fit this rather tight criteria.

Lash is good and the dungeon doesnt allow anybody in unless their playing. People do make an effort on how they look but I found it a very freindly and social club. Certainly a club i would recommend and go back to.

Dystopia is aslo an event I'd recommend (im going back in October) for me it was one of the best events ive been to this year, again people made an effort on how they looked but it wasnt about posing, great live shows, music, food. Several play areas as well as an outdoor area with bonfire

The Manchester dungeon is also somewhere that holds regular and popular events. Ive never been (yet) but have friends who go regularly to various nights and have always spoken highly of their time there.

Not sure on the distance from Manchester but The Kage (Bury) is definately somewhere to try. Venue is brilliant, the host is a nutter and doesnt just leave you to your own means. It also has a plunge pool sauna wet area. Realy chilled upstairs lounge and secluded dungeon for more intimate play and privacy.

I live in scotland and wouldnt recommend somewhere I wouldnt be prepared to spend my hard earned cash but my taste in clubs etc.. may be different to yours

Well the thing this thread has proved is that you can't be bored in Manchester.

Every venue has it's merits and also it's negatives but that's what the beauty of it all.

Pick n mix.

But as someone who like our scots friends I love to travel and experience new things.

It's usually what you as an individual make of event that makes it special and the company you keep.

For example the kage hasn't got loads of dungeon equipement but I've never had a crap time there and that's because the spirit is in the club.
