No, i am sure there is much basis of fact but it is fiction, i did watch the Dispatches programme before and we should all be very aware of the secret world of trafficking and terrible abuse suffered by many who are little more than children, and this in the very heart of the UK. Whatever our consensual acts we must never allow, or turn a blind eye, to this human misery, the exploitation of these people is shameful in this day and age. Maybe in BDSM terms we should capitalise thus "Slave" to differentiate - unless some Ubwer objects to any capital but his/her own....of course real unlawful non-consensual slavery is abhorrent. It is absolutely nothing to do with us : the word is simply the same. You can have rice pudding and bread-and-butter pudding and chocolate pudding - they are all puddings but very few people would confuse them. It is like saying that Black people are the opposite of White people.(Actually the truthful words for skin colour are brown and pink, but who can build a race relations industry on those colours?).PLEASE let us get a grip, folks ! Practise senseless acts of beauty. Edited 31 Aug 10, 4:13 PM by Cassius

The programme before it was more enlightening about actually slavery being practised in this country including the successful prosecution of a solicitor... The police were really put under the microscope for not taking allegations seriously until one organisation took up the case. Soince that time there is now a dedicated task force to this problem Sadly it is unfortunately seems to be happening a lot in foreign homes where the police have no powers... Don't make them a priority, when they only make you an option...

It made me cry, not sure if that's because I am already emotional, but it was a very powerful piece of TV and well worth breaking the self imposed TV blackout for

Watched it last night, very moving. " The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. Resist it
and your soul grows sick with longing, for the things it has forbidden
itself"

I found it extremely moving and I did cry. Life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once.
