More or less. And I've not gone insane, which is a thing, not sure if it's good or bad.

Not done much in the way of tiling though. Found out that I'd get up, watch some cartoons, potter about on-line and then the next thing I knew it would be afternoon. Being afternoon changes my perspective on things and made me feel like a big chunk of the day had gone and so was time to relax. Which it wasn't but that's the effect it had. And so the days would pass without me getting stuck into things. Although I'm now into season 4 of Buffy.

However, that's not to say I didn't accomplish things. I did various bits of tidying up, although nothing drastic our outstanding. The main thing I managed to do was find and buy a car. It's not what I'd perfectly like. In someways it's a step down from my last car, but the other things more than make up for it. It's got much better MPG so instead of paying £35 a week in petrol I'm hoping for something along the lines of £20 in diesel.

I have bought a new stereo for it and fitted it. Did involve a blister, cut, broken bit of plastic and lots of pissing around but I did it. The hardest part was re-connecting all the air/heat controls as it's the case of fit one thing and something else comes undone while you are doing that and so on. And broke a clip on one part which has messed things up a bit, but got the part number if I need to replace it, but duct tape was my friend. So bugger of a job, not perfect, but everything is done and working for the time being.

Now I'm aching and tired, especially after a late night last night and early morning this morning. Could do with a nice massage and a good nights sleep. However as I'm not going to be getting a massage and the good nights sleep isn't guaranteed around here, I think I'm going to settle for a Chinese and a can of Newcastle Brown.

Having spent so much time trying to save for a car, it's been nice to be able to spend, especially as I've had some money left over. So got the stereo and all the bits and pieces needed. Bought some music and clothes and bits and pieces. Not gone too wild but need to calm down a bit, but I've managed to pick up some stuff I've needed or wanted.

I'm trying to think of anything else I've accomplished these past two weeks but can't really think of anything.

Did have my Granddad's funeral on Thursday, which was a nice ceremony. We went to visit some relatives or rather step relatives afterwards. I've probably not seen them for about 30 years so the last they remember of me is being about chair high and running around their kitchen. And the thing is, I'm getting faint memories coming back of it. I've got a terrible memory of most things, especially my childhood, but this has sparked a couple of things.

Anyway, I've got two days left. Never know, I might get some more tiling done.

Now off to order Chinese. :-)

Did you fuck it first or something? ;-) Halfords could have fitted it for you, though they won't piss on it as a rule of thumb!

I take it the tiling will be done at Christmas :-D

Halfords would have charged £40 for the pleasure. If they had charged £20 then I might have been tempted.

And of course the tiling will be done by Xmas, just not sure which one.

Not sure if me memory goes back that far. I might have to fondle the pink stuff to see if it brings back memories. ;-) xxx
