isn't that broadly similar to the plot of "the six days of the condor" (filmed as "the three days of the condor")? actually, the "dexter" idea might fly. mild-mannered perve punishes those the law can't (or won't) touch... with a strap-on. probably. wi respect, k

Having been present at a number of post mortems and seen the genuine skills of a pathologist I don't think that any 'expert' in BDSM will provide any insight that hasn't already been reached.
Marvelous conspiracy theory though.

My mind, such as it is, has gone blank once again and i can't be bothered to traipse to the other end of the building to find the book. However, one of my favourite authors is Stuart McBride, he writes about Aberdeen and the east coast of Scotland. One of his books centres around BDSM, a munch and more. One of the police constables investigating a series of murders recognises the BDSM overtones and comes "out" and acts as the resident expert - much to the amusement of colleagues. From that point on his nickname is "Spanky". If you like great humour with great detective novels you could do a lot worse than to read McBride's work. Gary

This is more or less what I thought would be the answer. Having met a pathologist myself at a party (yeah, what DO you talk about) I doubt whether there are anybody more bright on the planet! Lets hope for some good investigative journalism that finds some truth and debunks most conspiracy theories.
Thanks for the posts guys, I must see some of the tv/films you are suggesting @************[belongs to [insert name]]**********O

Yep, they called me this morning, sorry but I can't tell you what we discussed. All I'll say is that it is unlikely to have involved Reverend Green, with the candlestick, in the conservatory.

In other words fiction writer makes it up. I know who Stuart McBride uses as his BDSM source and they have no connection with The Man. Why don't cash machines have a Gamble button?

The trouble is "Bloke dies in non suspicious circumstances at home" doesn't sell many papers. Why don't cash machines have a Gamble button?

I reckon the whole thing is just viral marketing for the next series of "Sherlock"! "Beat her, mistreat her, do anything that you please Bite her, excite her, make her get down on her knees" Iron Maiden - 22 Acacia Avenue |
