Possibly barely...
I've done two sessions this week and a Zumba class (hated that) and I feel pretty good. There's new dents on my sides already. I've paid for a month now and want to do 2-3 a week. I never thought I'd enjoy something like this but I kind of am. ![]()
I'm a bit worried that my weight loss will slow down but if it gets rid of my tummy, I think I can cope with that.

Good for you. Is that down at Cheetahs? "Shepard, the male toilets are on the port side of the ship"

When I started doing weights my weight loss did slow down - however not for long. You'll start to get leaner and toned though ------ I'd rather be poor and creative than rich and boring (Patrick Wolf)

Perhaps if you're concerned about weight loss reducing, focus on inches for a time instead?
You'll definitely change shape, and increase fitness Two roads diverged in a wood and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. (R. Frost)

Can I ask how hard you found it to "normal" weights...if you did those before that is? It's something I like the look of but haven't tried as of yet. We ain't too funky about our monkey

No, I haven't done "normal" weights. That just looked really dull to me. I have chosen kettlebells because they are supposed to be really good for fat burning and for exercising your core muscles. I carry too much weight around my middle (my legs are good) so I opted for it based on those reasons.
Yesterday I noticed two new dents in my sides, under my bra strap and above my waist. The two sessions must have created those as I haven't done anything else.

I've done another two classes this week. It's hard work but I'm almost enjoying it. Only almost. |
