You plod along, nothing much happening, quite content really in your own world. Doing the shopping, going to work, getting flogged. You all know the sort of thing.
And then something happens that floors you. Something that might last seconds but pulls you up by your socks and makes you realise just how fragile life is.
Today i had one of those moments. My sister picked me up at work to go to lunch and barely had we left the office than this madman in a black car decided that me, my sister and her rather large focus estate car didnt exist. He must have because he certainly didnt act as if he could see us.
He came shooting out of a side road and straight across our path. Thank god my sis had fast reactions. Without those i am convinced that at the very least i would be lying in a hospital bed with a lot of bruises if not broken bones.
It did make me take stock though and realise that life is precious and though i cant put aside the trivia of it completely, i do know that the only important things in this life is our love for one another and our appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.

I swear........I think some drivers got their licences from lucky bags!!! Something similiar happened to us just a week ago and if it hadn't been for hubby's quick re-actions....we would all have been knocking on those white pearly gates!!

thanks. i dont know what it is lately, but some drivers seem to be driving like its the end of the world if they dont get somewhere faster than they did before. The bottom half of GC INC | |
