Watching day time TV, at the end of UK Border Force there was an Australian passenger was stopped for inspection because he only had around £1500 to live on while visiting the UK for 4 months, and only 2 weeks earlier been refused a work visa. The officer questioning the passenger was very good when he found a gimp mask and other fetish equipment in the passenger's luggage. The passenger was getting increasingly nervous. But when the officer found a Master/slave contract and questioned the passenger, the passenger said he didn't know where his Master was! Now if that was me I would state where I was staying and who I was with, because I could be staying with my Dominant, and serving him/her to stay in the UK for the 4 months... Or is this just me? I must say the officer dealt with this very well, calmly and seriously.

Is that not running the risk of outing someone who may not actually want or need to be outed. When speaking about yourself, by all means feel free to out your tendancies, but i would be carfeul as to who else you put into the frame.....

Nope he was sent home that very night, because he couldn't prove he was in the country visiting friends. Play?

I watched it late last night and was pissing myself in laughter. The best bit was the full mask and also the boarder officer reading the contract between the Master and slave lol and when he said it was not a job/work paper, well that was the last straw i had to go to the loo. We need more telly like this, it shows how small minded some people can be to other ways of life and how they are led.

I saw this and I thought it was a major breach of the guy's privacy. Yes, ok, he did run the risk of it all - but it did not need to be shown on public television. I did have a titter at it, I will be honest, but I would certainly not like to outed in this way... Especially since his gear was not the best quality... There was I think the boarder force was something about pirates: 'repel boarders!' He may well not have known the real name or address of his soon-to-be 'Master'. I've know wannabe slaves who'd not demand it, and Masters who'd refuse to give that information to them, if asked. But the incident does not reflect well on anybody, the Customs officer, slave or Master. If anyone wants to enter the UK as a visitor, they have to be prepared to say how they are going to look after themselves while they are here and not allowed to work. If they can't show that they have enough funds themselves, they have to show that they have a sponsor who does. The onus is on the visitor to supply that information, the UKBA people are not going to wink and say 'OK mate, your Master will sort it, we know you're ok.' The guy might have felt he knew his master well enough to take it on trust but the Home Office don't work that way. Despite what some of you read in the papers and on bulk e-mails, immigration to the UK is really not that easy. It's only a weblog

I feel really bad for this guy. I havent seen the program myself but from reading the comments here, I can tell you that he could have had a private word and contacted his potential Master and get it all sorted. Obviously I would assume the M/s relationship was long term and long distant and that this slave did not just up and decide one morning to come here. Thus the basics like residential address, telephone/mobile numbers, email adresses, etc. Theres no need to delv into the Masters personal life and "out" them per se but surely this is to be expected when immigration matters are concerned. Overall, I say shame on the Master for making a person (and to be honest thats what a sub/slave are first and foremost) go through such disrespect, embarassment and ridicule for a life passion. This should never have been allowedto take place genuinely. Shame Shame Shame. No one deserves this. ViXSuN

Yes I saw the programme last week. I think the officer dealt with the situation with a great deal of sensitivity.
I would have had reservations too. Where was the 'master'? If I had travelled all the way from Australia I'd want to be met by my host. What was the issue regarding the work permit? Too many questions & not enough answers. I'd have sent him back too... With compassion.

Just to be totally anal about things now....... Boarder = lodger Border = edge, barrier, threshold. But I do believe that the Dominant in question was at fault for not providing proof of where the visitor was staying and I would view it as being a bad choice of Master being made by the submissive.
