AN OLD CHESTNUT REVIVED. (34)

I myself was once 'lumped in' with the little ladies who demand mobile phone top ups or rent for their flat and our friends overseas who ask for their fare to England from Nigeria. The 'client' was soooo disappointed when I told him I had my phones on yearly contracts lol!

We usually ignore such messages thank goodness. However, we do occasionaly get genuine queries as to why clients pay for our services and do we have to charge so much. Sooooooo

Here goes again:

Yes! People do and are most happy to pay for our services for various and very valid reasons.

Its is small minded and shows amazing ignorance of the S&m scene in general if you 'lump together' the teenies on crap chat sites wanting top ups for their mobiles, the Nigerian scammers who infest every site and the genuine and responsible pro dommes who spend many years perfecting their skills and who give an exellent service for peoples' hard earned cash. Why are our rates so high? ARE they high when you take into account all the following:

1/ We have to constantly buy and update or replace very expensive equipment and ranges of 'toys'. We have to constantly update and replace expensive outfits. Some of us have to hire premises. Some of us have to get insurance.

2/ It takes me approx 30 mins to dress for a session in the way that the client wants and at least another 20 mins to get everything ready for the particular scenario that they request.

3/ We get all ages and states of health from a newbie of say 25 to elderly and usually infirm people in their eighties. We can get clients who weigh 20 stone plus and who have to be monitored carefully to avoid problems. We can get people with body odour and/or very bad breath. I myself have a lovely client who suffers from extensive eczema and this can flare up badly at any point in the session so I have to be very careful as he can easily bleed if it does. We have to cope with all this and treat them all with equal respect and care.

4/ We have to clean up after a client has gone. Often this involves handling sweat soaked cling film or clothing, cleaning up spots of blood or taking condoms off strapons and butt plugs that have been up someone's bottom and then washing and disinfecting the toy. It all has to be done.

NONE of us that I know of go out and drag people in off the streets. They come to us for valid reasons. Most of them come back again and again because we give good value for money.

I really think people who moan about pro dommes should investigate and speak to good pros and also read the boards on IC. Also look at a pro domme's feedback.... if their websites have them that is. Look at what the clients say about them. Ok, you may say that we can always delete any negative that we do not like, but there may never BE negatives. Look at what clients CONSISTANTLY say.

Pros are ace! Pros rule! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!

Because they lead very boring lives? Because they are hoping we will say: 'Ah! Go on then I will do you for twenty quid!'? Because they just do not like anyone who earns more than them? Who knows and as you point out who cares?

I do however explain to those who I reckon genuinely do not understand about the work we do and expense that we incur, hence the blog. Thankyou for contributing.

Thankyou for your contribution and you are of course right.

Your quotes do sound like Wilde, although I am not familiar with either of them.

I totally agree with both especially the former. No matter who you are and whatever you are or have got there will always be someone who envies you for some reason. The sad (or comical part depending on whether you are the sender or receiver) is when they let that envy show as in the hate mail.
