Hi All, I'm struggling with venue. I don't want to use a hotel as I don't want our environment limiting our conversation or any 'demos' that might pop up, so I've been looking at holiday cottage rental. They ain't cheap for large groups. At the moment they are coming in at about £75 a head before food/consumables. So if I threw on another £10 to £15 for food etc would you guys still be interested? I can't realistically see this coming about for much under £100 a head unless the idea is scaled down drastically but I do think it would be a shame not to go for the full experience if we can. I'm sure that the best would be in an individual property where we can't frighten the natives so if enough people are willing to pay for it I think you should go ahead. For those that feel that is too much then perhaps there should be a rethink about the overnight aspect. It would be a shame not to have a sleepovers as there is an opportunity for far more fun that way! |

I am interested, depending on the travel, etc., because of family commitments. You could try a swingers venue - they often let people stay overnight after a party for nothing (here they do, anyway. I've heard that some places charge, though).
If you wanted to do a daytime thing, you could do it at PlaySpace on a Sunday during the day. I had hoped to do a "Tea Party" there anyway, but was waiting to see how the other ones being planned were panning out in case everyone is too "Tea'd out". I think this is a fabulous idea and I would love to be involved if you run it again. Don't think I would be ready to leave my lil man in the first 3 months of his gorgeous lil life! I would have the perfect venue for this sort of thing but it is in Devon - maybe a thought for the future! Good luck with this honey. I know one of My Cd's stays in a kink friendly cottage, for a few weeks every year fully dressed, it is in a rural location in the mids. It is a hotel, with seperate cottages, they are also gender/gay friendly.
I will investigate the fees etc, if this helps
