I was wondering if the world of bdsm filtered through to IC members choice of two wheeled transport ?
What are you riding around on out there and is it a practical choice or a lifestyle decision ?

I currently ride a Yamaha FJR1300. It is practical because it slices through traffic on the way into congested towns and cities, when I ride it - predominantly during the spring, summer and autumn. During winter, the bike gets put away, to save the bike from the ravages of salt. Not really thought about it as a lifestyle choice - although wearing leather may (or may not) have something to do with it. |

My get around London bike, which isn't really an "around town" bike, but as close as I get is a 1988 Honda 400 BabyBlade. Then there's the Suzuki 1400 S83 Intruder which is a kind of street/chop and is one mean beast. And finally there's the 1340 softail Evo Bobber/Chop. I can't really say it's a Harley as the only Harley bits left on it are the cylinders. The rest of it is customised upgrade after-market parts . . . . new engine/drive technology with old school chop looks.
So "is it a practical choice or a lifestyle decision?" . . . just never grew up "You, you're only what you think you might be; I am only what you think I am" Curved air - It happened today Edited 13 Aug 10, 7:01 PM by Beelzee |

Currently riding a Bandit 1250, which is a loan bike whilst my Triumph Tiger is being repaired. The bandit has one of those engines that provides 'usable power' with masses of torque pretty much everywhere in the rev range. A bit like a Triumph triple, really. Before the Tiger, I had a Speed Triple 1050 for 5 years, a Harley 1340 low rider, Suzuki SV650, Ducati ST2 and various others. |

Currently a V50 mkII before that a Honda dream (but I'm better now) before that a competition tuned BSA250 single, a 350 gold star, and a D3 bantam. "Ride free citizens" Hugs, Irene. Yet Dom as I am _

My '99 1200 Bandit just clocked 80,000 miles on the ride up from Bournemouth to Fox's (now HCafe) just south of Oxford yesterday with the imp on the back. It's getting a bit worn now, but still has 121 bhp at the rear wheel with the only engine mods being a race can and a K&N filter.

Dare I say ? I have a 125 Jinlun . A what ? There's a pic of it on my profile . It's a Chinese repro of a Harley & about a tenth the price . As I do less than 2K miles per annum ... Enough said ? I'm the fairest or fair-weather riders . I don't do fast either , Top speed is only 58mph but downhill with a tail wind I have done 65mph. But I do like posing on it. Naturally I have the appropriate gear , very retro & all black . Politeness privacy & discretion are my middle names |

Bikers! I've been scrounging about for a bike to sit a model on for a while. Anyone fancy a day out at a femdom shoot? |

Always have my 350 lc , and also got a triumph sprint rs at the moment.
Its not particularly a lifestyle choice , I have had bikes since I was 17 and just feel safer and more comfortable on 2 wheels than 4. The grin factor is a big thing in deciding to stick with 2 wheels. Edited 1 Oct 10, 4:48 PM by Frank_N_Wolf |

Still loving my VFR750. May be 20 years old, but in 1990 it was a powerful combination of a sports/tourer - VFR's got heavier and more touring-oriented later.. Basically, I've wanted one since working in a 'bike shop when they were new. Had 'bikes since I was 17, but the last (GS400) stood around for a few years until I gave it away as a restoration project. Partly so that when I wanted a sportsbike, the wife couldn't say I already had one.. I commute to the city on it, which it is bloody excellent for, I suppose if i'm honest, a bit over-specified, 150mph+ isn't really necessary inside the M25.. Tomorrow's job is fitting a stainless exhaust - a right bugger on the V4, apparently, but I've got ambitions of having this bike for quite a few years yet. X |

Ha, motorbikes! I ride a *real* bike, that is, a bicycle, around Oxford, and my kinky side comes through by my choice of bike lock. It's a pair of German-made Clejuso Model #13 heavy handcuffs. They attract quite a bit of attention. :-:-: Ropework :-:-: |
