There's a moment,

of total certainty.

When you know where you stand, and who and what you are,

and what's important.

When you're at their feet,

and nothing else matters in the world,

but being there in your place,

being their good obedient girl.

Knowing you're exactly where you should be,

you can let everything else go,

and just be.

That's what makes it all worthwhile.

Not the play or the pain, not the rules or the games.

It's that peaceful, centred calm,

that contented little place.

That moment of feeling complete,

Of feeling safe.

Of looking up at them and knowing that they own you.

Utterly, completely.

That moment.

That is what I live for.
