Its nearly over, that is the stay with my current flatmate the 22 year old who is going on about 6. Any of you who have had the pleasure of meeting him, albeit briefly the 'star trek' incident lol. Will know he's a little odd and having lived with him for the past 15 months or so I think the use of the word little odd is an understatement.
I had high hopes for this flat when I first moved in, having friends over for a night in and those sorts of things. But the first few times I invited people over his reaction of running and hiding in his room I felt kind of put off by; so I don't know how it made others feel. It was something I always gave him notice about but hey ho that's soon to be a thing of the past.
Here is hoping that one of the flats I am seeing on Friday is what I want and can sort out moving in to my own little place where I can invite friends around without the need for them to feel as if they have done something wrong.
It's going to be an interesting challenge all in all moving in to a place of my own, but I have my therapist's backing in doing it, it will just require me to put a plan in to place for any manic or depressive phases while I sort things out medication wise. So here is to growing up and looking to move to suburbia and no more weird flatmates!
