The dress code is as strict as it says on the website. If you're worried, then smart black is the minimum... no jeans or trainers. Strict is a funny word to use... they're strict in that they stick to those rules, but those rules aren't exactly restrictive. I wouldn't worry at all, Swamp is such a welcoming place. If you mention on the door that it's your first time, they'll even give you a tour round the place. Your nerves will quickly go away when you realise how friendly everyone is!
