I used to be a proper geek, but have been a backslider for a few years now - a combination of a couple of years travelling and a couple of years living in an area with limited access to geek-enabling networks will do that to you.
But I will shortly be moving back into the world fo fast broadband speeds, 3G and wireless connections so I figured I had better briush up on my geekiness.
Any recommendations on blogs / websites / forums / podcasts that I can use for my swotting?
My ex used to listen to a really cool tech podcast from some American guys. If anyone can come up with what that could have been from my very vague description there may well be a prize in it for you ![]()

Depends what areas of geekiness you're into, really. El Reg is always amusing. If you like hardware, there's bit-tech.net _______________ |

Yes, more detail needed. 'Tech' alone covers a fair amount; do you have something like this in mind, or something less concerned with tinkering? Edit: ah, missed your reply to the earlier post while composing this. Of course we're crazy sometimes; of course we're silly lots of the time. How else could we endure living in this world and keep some sanity? Go out on the Earth at night, just look upwards and you see the Universe! Edited 2 Aug 10, 1:56 PM by Eleuther |

could it be rebel fm? The american podcast i mean. i've been listening to the gamerstard cast recently. It's on itunes and is about video games, but it's really funny. They had a guy from rebel fm on a few weeks ago. otherwise i recommend ign.com The time has come, the Walrus said, To talk of many things: Of shoes and ships and sealing-wax, Of cabbages and kings, And why the sea is boiling hot-- And whether pigs have wings." |
