A reminder to anyone thinking of coming to the August edition of the Peterborough Munch, just for August the munch will be meeting at the Peterborough Beer-Fest. As per link below: http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/uk/event_dates/... Whatever you do, please DO NOT meet at The Brewery Tap for the August Munch, because there won't be a kinky group there!! PLEASE! It will be decidedly quiet! For those of you who are not already aware the Peterborough Beer-Fest is the second largest Beer-Festival in the UK with a great atmosphere, live music, a good choice of food and plenty of beers. As a munch we are a very welcoming group to all newcomers, and all kinks (legal ones) are catered for. If you fancy travelling to Peterborough to attend the BeerFest and/or attend the munch, please do get in touch with either myself (TheMunchSlut) or Trevor or anyone else in the Peterborough Munch. It isn't just people in Peterborough I'm letting know. We have a lot of people who travel from further afield to our munch - and some of them we only see from time to time. I am not saying anyone is thick at all. Apologies for the multiple thread. | |

Are they as equally incapable of being told after one post and need five? All of the posts you bumped awere marked as Peterborough also. What evidence do you have which makes you think people only look at old threads to see what is happening, rather than the latest? Are you going to apologise to the people in the four threads you bumped off the first page? Why don't cash machines have a Gamble button? | |

I don't know, and I'm not fussed either way, but the other people's replies have been a real help. It means I can remind folks that the Peterborough venue in August will change to the Beer-Fest. And your reply has unintentionally helped to bump it up to the top of the list. It's quite funny (not funny ha! ha!) really, 'cos after umpteen years of organising stuff for other people, I cannot recall the number of times that I arranged something and tried to notify everybody of a change. All goes well, and then after the event somebody claims that they did not know, they weren't told. And it's all (supposedly) the organiser's fault. So this is the insurance policy to make sure that people are notified. Overkill maybe, but those replies are helping to let people know. And I can always show them later if they didn't see these notifications. Perhaps one of you might fancy travelling to Peterborough. It's a bloody good Beer-Fest!!
