Whilst fighting the alligators, it's oh so easy to forget that your objective was to drain the swamp.
It's easy to think that you are making progress (by reading and posting on IC, making scene friends, growing a network, attending munches, going to events) and to fail to notice that you have not progressed as much as one tiny step towards your goal of finding someone willing to enter into an intimate passionate bdsm relationship.
How do you maintain focus through all these distractions?
