What a lovely little theatre and a great pub, too. Went along to see the play, last night, with friends... don't really know what I expected, not really sure what I saw (though it was the play, as advertised). Had a very pleasant evening out. ETA ~ "Would you like a cup of tea?" "Only if you throw it over me." ... made me laugh, anyway - although humour certainly wasn't the theme. Edited 4 Sep 10, 9:06 AM by chartreuse | ||

The actors were superb, the first act was powerful and believable, the denoument was well thought out and satisfying.............but I really had a problem with her "vampirism". On a purely personal level this was where the subject matter vered off to a slightly contrived and convenient plot manipulation. Nevertheless, a really good evening and I would still like to see/read more of his work. | ||

Just back from the afternoon play, and really enjoyed it. I thought it was well thought out and written, and I even know people who are like the charecters. I too will try and see more plays by the author, and next time wont have to rush off and will thank him and have a chat The two friends who came with me enjoyed it too | ||

Thanks for the feedback and to those who came along. As Sirprizeme points out, the cast were superb. The Bristol Evening Post reviewer gave the show 9/10 | ||
