today's update...
Well he is much better today, he has started to do things for himself, well trying to anyway, I promised him if he ate a reasonable amount of congee (which he hates and is like a rice porridge) yesterday I would get him something nice today. I went out and got him a macdonalds quarter pounder with cheese, his eyes lit up when I gout back and he couldn't push it in his mouth fast enough, he ate almost all of it. Later I had got him a beef salad and he tried using a fork and was getting nowhere so picked it up un his hand and shoved it in his mouth, he was so adamant that i wasn't to help him lol Tomorrow the doctor is going to get him out of bed and sat in a chair for a while, hopefully that will make him feel a bit better The funny thing is there is one nurse in there who has taken a bit of a shine to him and looks after him when she is on, but Gareth is insisting she is a man, but it is a girl, he won't have it and when he sees her he says "my man" luckily she doesn't realise. I keep telling him but he won't listen I suppose because she has short hair, which is unusual for chinese girls he thinks that. I just hope she never realises, but it is so funny. In his more lucid moments I tell him what you say and he sends his regards back to you all. I know he is getting better he has started swearing at me and insulting me lol

No, don't stop posting, even though I don't post on every one, I read them all, and its fantastic news he is on the mend. I'm sure others want to follow his recovery
