The reason I'm asking is I had a very strange text which I guess was just a joke but I guess it's pretty hard to tell right? If you had a message sent to you in capitals asking if I knew about the sad passing of a local mistress from an unknown number then after asking who and who is this in reply get another one back just saying "YOU" would you be worried? So has anyone recieved any sort of threat working on the scene?

Yes, I've received death threats by text, and phonecall. I knew who it was though and so was able to give the police her name and address. It sounds as though you have picked up a common or garden nutter rather than a real threat. Keep the texts, keep a log and don't reply. Ignoring them often works and they soon disappear. If they persist then contact the police and let them deal with it. The police were brilliant with my situation. If you want memo me their number and I'll check it against our library and see if they are known to us. As tempting as it is. Don't reply. Don't feed it.

Memo'd you. I dont want to give that creep more fodder for his wankings. I had exactly the same message via text this weekend. I didnt respond, if I were you I wouldnt worry too much about it - strikes me as a prankster. Wouldn't be all too surprised if many pros received the same message this weekend. This is good news. It's just a wanker, rather than a specific and personal threat. Thanks for the heads up. I'll pass this info around.

Um ..... there have been serial killers who targeted particular groups of women ..... don't think they sent texts before hand (Jack The Ripper certainly didn't!) but even so it's a bit much. If they sent one to my old publicised number at the weekend it would be the police reading it as they have the sim. Sods law they probably havn't!!!

I was geting all kinds of threats recently from someone who thought I had agreed to sell him a motorbike. Said we'd had a long discussion about on some gay biker forum. I thought it was all quite funny though because all his texts were written phonetically, revealing he was Scottish.

Errmmm - can I suggest that you report these incidents to the police ladies ? If more than one of you has received these messages it suggests a worrying degree of persistence. Unless someone knows who he is in real life I think that all you can say is that the PROBABILITY is that he's a fantasist. And if he isn't stopped he might commit more serious offences. Getting him a criminal conviction and a restraining order would be the greatest lawful deterrent to continued abuses of this type. Most forces have Prostitute Liaison Officers who will probably have lots of experience in dealing with these type of cases (unfortunately they won't have different specialist Pro Domme liaison officers so you may have to grit your teeth and accept official designations in this instance). I would quite agree. The quicker people such as this are dealt with the better. No-one who threatens anyone in any such circumstance or manner should be treated lightly. SOS
