Okay - I'm doing a photoshoot in mid-august, and I need to beg, borrow or steal some props for it, and come up with a location. I need:
1) suggestions for a location local to me (brighton) that I can drive to within 10 minutes or so. Could be somewhere outside, or somewhere private I can borrow for free, but I'm wanting a classic dank brick wall space, suggestive of mould and dark wet dripping sounds, rust, etc etc.
2) to borrow some shackles - the dirtier and grubbier looking the better, but they need to be proper shackles, not just metal cuffs. Something like this: http://www.dfp.com/ProductImages/00014.JPG See that chain between them? That's important for this next bit:
3) suggestions as to how to temporarily jam a hook into a brick wall, so we can lob the chain of the shackles through it.
4) one of my mates to volunteer to chaperone! (might have to bribe you for this - liable to be boring. Bring a book). The photographer is male, I haven't met him before or know anyone else who has, and I'm going to be in bondage and semi or fully nude. Nuff said!

I don't know of anywhere in particular, but if you run Brighton (or East Sussex) and urbex (or urban exploration) through Google, you'll probably find one or two places nearby. Chuck your boyfriend, have a sandwich. | |
