It used to be like that for the Manchester one too, but as has been mentioned, it was abused. Enforcing an age limit might seem harsh, but having things so black and white makes it much easier for everyone to know where they stand, both attendees and organisers. Besides, Manchester has enough munches to make sure that everyone gets a chance to mingle with each other at some point of the month. Compliance for fun? Hell yes. | |

Sarah has already mentioned how it works in manchester with the under35 thing, as to asking permission however that must vary wildly between partners. Gabriel is older then me and isn't able to attend the under35's. As yet I've only ever been when he is working (but thats not unusual as we both work most weekends) however I don't have to ask for permission, but that is the way our relationship works..
