Hia. I am aware that naming and shaming is not allowed on IC but is there any way of warning pro-dommes or other IC users about scammers?

The only way to do it without breaking the AUP is to memo someone directly. If you are really concerned you could inform Admin but just bear in mind that Admin will take everything said with a pinch of salt because they won't know what or who to believe.

You could detail the scam (as you see it) precisely. That way, you wouldn't have to identify the scammer, just the MO.

Why are you/we not allowed? IC disallows so much, it's barely a forum. If someone's being a blatant fuckwit, we should know if it can be backed up. They'll only sign up with another username anyway, but at least that particular profile can be known about.
Far. far too many rules on here.

From the AUP Please do not attempt to use IC for "name and shame" campaigns with accusations about events outside of IC, as moderators cannot distinguish between genuine complaints and malicious smear campaigns.
