Mathematical, but still geeky:

1) What do you get if you cross a sheep with a goat? |sheep||goat| sin(theta) n(hat) [ba-doom, tish!]

2) Or ... what do you get if you cross a mountaineer with a mosquito? Nothing, you can't cross a scaler with a vector!

They tell everyone the lightbulb isn't broken, the light switch is just holding the lightbulb the wrong way and it can't get any power

I think that we actually need more scientists than we need artists and entertainers. You can make slow and steady progress in science with lots of normal people. Worthwhile art requires talent though.
