So we've been talking about having a munchnic ever since the first rays of sunshine creeped out. The long-range weather forecast has been checked, a location sorted, and Pimms purchased. Now all we need is you wonderful people! It's going to be an all-age affair this month - absolutely everyone is welcome though I won't be posting the location on the boards, please memo @shy_sarah for a map and bus details.
@shy_sarah will also be doing a meet-up in town at Odder Bar (Opposite the BBC) between 12pm and 1pm so we can travel down en masse. There are a couple of small supermarkets near our location so either bring food and booze with you or get it once you're there. Someone will be at the park from 12pm to meet people too though I haven't told them that yet At the U35s we love to see people's home-made efforts and it's great to share something you've baked/made/concocted with a large group of appreciative mouths so get busy in the kitchen! Please also bring a blanket or somesuch to sit on. People from all over the North West, from every group and every level of experience are equally welcome. There is no dress code, no protocol other than politeness and no requirement to discuss anything you're not comfortable with.

It's worth it just for a lick of his custard. And by custard I mean... well I mean custard. It's really lush. Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. ~ Groucho Marx

Just to remind you: memo me if you want directions sent to you or post something on here if you're planning to meet us in town so I can get an idea of numbers and have enough baked goods! Compliance for fun? Hell yes. |
