Basicly I have noticed that many many people on here (all tops of some descriptions) ask or even demand these Tributes, What I want to know is firstly why someone people ask and some don't
What kind of gifts are they, and how much do people put into them.

My understanding is that if you are seeing a Dom (Male and/or Female) on a professional level then there is a tribute/payment involved. This is usually good old cash but I know of some that "trade" service for service (play session for gardening, etc, etc) or accept gifts in items of the same value as a cash tribute. Not sure it is something I have ever come across when relating to a Dom/mme on a personal basis ... apart from when I offer Himself's services in excange for chocolate <ewg> "You and you alone make me feel that I am alive.
