The message is self-explanatory. The venue has changed to 16 Mauldeth Road. There's nothing else that anyone other than the organisers need to know, surely? | |||

I disagree. If a large event has been organised weeks in advance and people have been anticipating where they are going then a day before the venue completely changes i feel this deserves an explanation. surely?

How about just being really thankful that the organisers have managed to find another venue at short notice rather than having to cancel. You're not owed anything. Miss Hardy has summed it up thoroughly. Dystopia is an event, not a set of walls. It has been moved to a different location, but you make it sound as though they have moved it to a different country. Personally it took me minutes on Google to map out directions to and from there. You'll live. | |||

Perhaps people who have been to this event before are more familiar with it changing location before and are therefore ready for last minute changes. However it seems myself and other people on I.C. are not so comfortable with such sudden alterations however close the new venue may be. It also took me by surprise as it was only a comment as part of another thread and not and entirely new thread - "New Venue for Dystopia!" I have a feeling there will be a group of people trying to get into Antwerp in rubber and collars! Rui.

You've got to be kidding me, right? You live in Manchester, while I'm crossing almost the entire country to attend an event in a city which I have never even passed by on a train before, yet you're the one stressing over this? Seriously, it's not a big deal.
