Yoy didn't allow replies on your blog and I'm assuming you mean curling tongs rather than tongues. It's the voltage that's different. Assuming that your tongs are designed to use 110 volts, I think you would need a transformer and it probably isn't worth bothering. If they can use 110 -240 volts, you can just buy a plug adaptor for about £1 and they will work fine. If you are shopping now for ones you can use in both countries, check if they are compatible with the voltage.

I saw that earlier yesterday, but far prefer the curling tongues idea, and would like to know where I can get one from the UK and one from the USA....ooohh wait a minute! I know just the place "I see the shooting stars falling through your trembling hands..." |
