I'm definitely in the "this is a positive thing" camp. Regardless of what you think of her, the more people who have the balls to admit to their BDSM needs/wants/desires, the more likely people are to realise it's something lots of people have to some degree or another.

As far as I'm concerned, whether I like the person or not, if they play consensually and are willing to help BDSM into mainstream acceptance, then they will always have my support.

how do you know she doesnt know how to play safely already? one can asume that if she's into this she will have researched ALL aspects, and NOWHERE will let Health and safety get too far from any kind of BDSM discussion...
