Startling news was broken to me today by Joanna that she is having an operation to remove cancerous lumps from her breast tomorrow.

She is being very brave and would like to remind other women to regularly check their breasts for lumps.

Luckily they were spotted early but the operation will not be the end as further tests and chemotherapy will follow.

So please join me in wishing Mistress Joanna a speedy recovery with minimal suffering, after all she's a giver not a taker!

I don't know the lady, but I really do wish her all the best for a quick and complete recovery.

Thank you all for your supportive words and warm greetings! I've woken up, that's the most important! And the morphine was good ;) Recovering at home now, being spoiled and having a rest, watching "only fools and horses" and eating cherries. I wanted to go to The Boat party, not sure if can make it though...
