I was in town shopping yesterday and fancied a meal at one of my favourite restaurants. I walked in and said those words we all hate to say... 'table for 1, please.'
OK, we all know that being single and not getting sex, play or cuddles on the couch really sucks. But, it also sucks having to go to movies alone, or out to eat, or even shopping alone. Since my best friend recently moved in with her fiancé, I've been experiencing a lot more 'alone time'.
So, Kinky Singles Forum to the rescue!!!
Instead of JUST looking for a partner in this group, why don't we also see about finding local friends to go out to movies with, the theatre, dinner, etc. No strings attached, no sex required and it doesn't matter if you're both subs or Doms. If you're lonely and bored, I say you don't have to be!
So, here's how it works. Just reply to this post, and/or put on your profile, roughly where you live and what *non-kinky* things you'd love to go out and do with a friend.
Then, troll through the post from time to time to see if anyone is local that likes what you like, memo them, meet up and have fun.
Going to munches, play parties, or even you local, is so much easier if you don't have to go alone.
So, I'll start....
My name is penwiggle. I'm female, 44, mostly submissive.
I enjoy eating out, movies (all sorts apart from musicals), shopping, theatre, music, biking and walks in the country side.
Would be happy to meet up with other kinky singles anywhere between Cambridge, Ipswich and Colchester.

Oh I know exactly how you feel. Being single feels, for me, like being a 2nd class citizen. I'm slowly getting used to it but, after years in a relationship, it's very strange. My solution to eating out is to take my toddler son with me, on the few weekends when I get to see him. It makes a surprising difference. I don't feel so alone when he's with me and, because he's a very cute kid, waitresses fawn over him. I do like your idea of having local friends for evenings out, so that you don't feel so isolated and alone. I'd be very happy to meet up with people to go see a film, have a meal or just coffee with in the evenings.

Yes it'd be nice to meet any folks in Swindon locality, please bear in mind i don't drive thus relying on public transport to get from a to b. Being a single mum much time is not my own, but i have every other weekend free, haven't been to the cinema for looooong time, most stuff considered |

This thread seemed such a good idea but it seems to have been missed of late Anyway, if someone would like a "vanilla" night out at a cinema/theatre or a restaurant (as long as it's not a curry house)I'd certainly be up for the company. I'm open to most suggestions really, even just a walk along the prom with a bag of chips and I'm actually quite good, humorous company .....even if i do say it myself Oh and I'm in Hastings Debs x Yes I am posh snob...obnoxious little people made me that way ! |

The idea of someone to go to dinner with, the cinema with, no hidden agenda sounds good to me too. I don't get to IC very often, but now I have seen this, I will make an effort to pop in more often. I live in rural somerset, but do drive.. |

But then it says me "do not post personal ads"... Is that counts as one?
Well, what the hell. I am in Glasgow, 30yo male, like to watch movies which hardly can be found in most cinemas (maybe except from GFT) and I would really like to find someone to play music with from time to time (not to form a band, but just to sit together with a guitar or two and some other instruments and few nice voices). I used to do it back in Poland and I miss it a lot |
