eBay annoyances (5)

I bought a pair of shoes from a business seller on eBay last month and discovered they were faulty two weeks later (the heel isn't properly attached). I emailed and was told to not wear them and return them, which I did. Nice and simple I thought. No.

They didn't bother to pick them up from the sorting office and I got them back this morning. Her answer to my annoyed email? "We assumed you'd decided to keep them." It makes me wonder how many people would want to keep a pair of Carvela shoes (not fucking cheap) which they actually can't wear?

I opened a dispute as it's now close to the 45 day cut off period and have they responded? Have they hell.

Lately I've been selling a lot on eBay (time to clear out my shop stock) and I would never treat someone like that. I'm really shocked. I really do expect better.

ebay is a great site when things are going well...a pain when mistakes are made.by the way jess,im bidding on your dress!!!!:-)

I brought some bolero's for our bridesmaids and they were made wrong. the seller said send them back...or I would not get a refund.

I sent them back, opened a dispute with paypal and ebay, I never got the money back or any help from ebay or paypal!! xXAXx

I've had really mixed results from disputes. Some of them I get a refund straight away and others I've had to jump through firey hoops and still got no where. It only works if people are honest and straight forward and, sadly, not all of them are.

Another instance - I sent back a pair of leggings on Monday, the tracking showed they were signed for on Wednesday. I emailed Wednesday night to be told they hadn't got them. Well, erm, actually, you have.

Good luck dominalush! It's a fab dress! I've got a few more that are similar and will be going up there in the near future.
