My ex brother in law is lying in a hospital bed, fighting for his life, waiting to hear if he can be operated on to stop the bleeding in his brain. The bastards that did this to him will most probably get away with it too.
He's refusing to give a statement though for one reason only. To protect his son, my nephew. The whole thing has me sick to my stomach, but it does two things. It makes me put my life and its minor challenges into perspective, and it amazes me that such chivalry, such love exists.
If you believe in prayer, please pray for him, if you believe in positive thoughts, please send them his way.

Positivity is my middle name Prayer: Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to you. Allow Your healing Hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others; touch my heart with Your courage and infinite Love for all; touch my mind with Your Wisdom, and may my mouth always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in all my needs, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which you have created, now and forever. Amen. Darling, I'll bathe your skin, I'll even wash your clothes, Just give me some candy before I go. Oh darling, I'll kiss your eyes and lay you down on your rug, Just give me some candy before I go. |

Really sorry to hear this Jules, fingers crossed everything goes well for him. "The most powerful sexual organ in the body is our brain, open your mind and allow your fantasies free reign. Mutual pleasure between consenting adults is a wonderful thing." |

Sad to read of this. Prayers & hopes. Please don't be hard on yourself Jules, you'd do the same if you had a son to protect. |
