Thanks to tied_n_tested for organising this. I'm hoping that there will be more picnics, or similar social gatherings, in future. The Munchkins game was great fun, even if I was distracted most of the time by my little one. He was rather tired after an energetic morning in the playground, so was a bit more weepy than normal. I'd love to play Munchkins again. Is it played at munches? This is the first event that I've been to for quite a long time, so I'd love recommendations of good munches to attend. I'd have loved to have heard more of the music, and joined in with the singing. tied_n_tested seems to have quite similar musical taste to me, so I was enjoying what I could hear of it. I'd certainly be up for any future musical gatherings. Hopefully I'll be able to meet people again in the near future, when I'm not so distracted by a two year old.

Nice one, tied_and_tested. Thank you! (P.S. sorry for my fail music taste! At least I didn't force Glee songs on you all!) Check out @The_Art_Forum

Well done Tied_n_tested! A great afternoon, and well done for organising such wonderful weather
Nice to meet so many lovely new people, including a few who seemed to like the group atmosphere but weren't sure who we were or why we were there.. which was quite amusing 'To Oblivion, and beyond!'

Yeah, we appreciate your efforts TNT. Another great day! Nice to meet some new people and play some notes to you all. I have to say the singing was a definite improvement all round on last time! :]

Aww thanks so much for that feedback Without you guys attending, it wouldn't even be a munch so thank you all for showing up and being such sports.
Thanks to everyone that endured my renditions/bastardised versions of songs - I do state quite clearly on my profile that I play badly, yet you let me carry on. You must clearly all be masochists What a great turnout - almost snared* an amazingly talented nilla too - not to worry I shall try and lure him back into our reach, as he was too good a guitarist to let him escape without corrupting completely! I wish I could play the guitar half as well as some of you guys!
There will be at least one more jamming session this summer, that much I promise * For the record I only meant as in we needed to persuade him to come regularly to this munch and play his guitar (ok so maybe we could corrupt him a little too) but I did not mean for me personally. He was only 19! "Love is dead. It was acquired in a hostile takeover by Hallmark & Disney, homegenised, then sold off piece by piece." L Simpson Edited 11 Jul 10, 10:33 AM by MissAnnThropist

Another great jamming munch. Congrats to @tied_n_tested for all the hard work of organising it, it was great listening to all the music being played and that nilla who turned up to play the guitars was absolutely brillant to listen to. Cannot wait for the next one whenever it is. The excuse for my idiotic nature, I'm Welsh. Edited 11 Jul 10, 1:11 AM by anweledig |
