On the whole human beings want to be good, but not too good and not quite all the time.

Any of the 22 DVDs of archive material of my favourite band, sent to me to review last week plus the two DVDs of their recent festival gig that I filmed. It's a minority interest that one! (and 24 recently rediscovered audio tapes plus 2 newly recorded CD's as well!)! It's a tough job but someone has to do it...

@Whips_Without_Dicks - watch for news!
Everyone has the right to be equal unless and until they choose to relinquish it.
We call it play but it isn't a game - it's people's lives.

Fightclub (it's life itself, though the ending is silly)

Farinelli (the sheer beauty of it all)

Sound of music (that scene in which the baroness tries to play with the children, oh my)

Lord of the rings (even though the books are better)

Carnivale (not a film, yet it made a deep impression on me, because of the archetypical characters)

I guess I would need more than a day to see them all, given the length of these movies. But it has become a habit to see one movie on my birthday, as a sort of symbol for the past and the coming year, and that movie is again and again Fightclub.
