I have to confess that I like a Domme who will make me wear something to please her. This tends to be something that is embarrassing to me, but amusing to her such as frilly knickers or stockings. However, I'd be interested in exploring being instructed to dress in a more visible manner in male clothes that would please her but which I didn't like – for example a particular style, material or colour of shirt, jacket, trousers etc.

A good sub should be obscene and not heard!

I'm not disagreeing. It woudl give you scope to look after her but I just can't see how as a matter of course you can have clothed dom comfortable and naked female sub comfortable. I get goose pimples and chilblains so it would have to be so hot he'd be sweating and feeling dreadful or so cold she's shivering. May be if I were near the equator though it would work. I'm not suggesting I'd object but just saying it's been a real practical issue for me and makes things less fun. If you're freezing cold you don't feel sexy usually.

One of the nice things about being alone after a long marriage is we can have the heating up as high as we like.. mmmmmm lovely.

Aah - well, you have a point. And I might be naked - or i might be in my robe: But that would be my choice. She does not have that choice.

About helf the time I am clothed and she isn't - and if she's uncomfotrably chilly then she will generally wrap herself around me anyway, assuming we aren't at our chores.

For most of the time though, it isn't an issue - think of th emonths of the year (extended by central heaating) where a person would be happy either to potter around naked or in light clothing, just for form's sake.

I only raise it becaue I've found it a problem. Theoretically it's very sexy to have that imbalance of male fully dressed and sub naked. It makes me feel vulnerable and submissive if it's warm enough. I haven't had a boyfriend whose house hasn't been far too cold for me either. Perhaps I should do the Thai bride thing in reverse or take him to somewhere I go in the tropics I suppose.

Anyway the principle is very sexy and I'm always disappointed if a man doesn't want to control how I look. If he can't be bothered at least some of the time, if he's so uninterested he barely sees what you're wearing.

My clothes are chosen for things like going out, and when shopping. I'm told what to wear when i'm on a night out on my own.

Northern Light usually accompanies me to the hairdressers and directs how my hair is to be cut, and she will also be helping choose my new glasses tomorrow.
