skyfire works on my Nokia X6 but not very well, doesn't like the frames but better than the browser that came installed, at least I can log in and check messages etc.

Try this Go to the IC site scroll down to personal adverts click on to a selection eg fM scroll down through the adverts to bottom of the page you will see a red SIGN IN option click on this and scroll down the page it should then ask for your details from which you should then be able to access the site.

My issue currently is that IC only allows one login at a time (did it used to do that?).

Everytime I want to check on iPhone/iPad I have to re-log in, which is becoming a real pain.

I have exactly the same problem on my Nokia N95. It used to load IC fine, now it just takes me to the sign-in page, and when I log-in, it just reloads that page. I checked with my service operator that I've got adult access switched on - tick. I even changed my SIM due to a seperate issue, with no change to the IC problem. Downloaded Opera as suggested above - worked a treat. PLUS, I really like Opera as a browser on my phone, it's a lot more slick and shiny looking, and intuitive to use, than whatever standard browser came with the phone.

"WHORE!!"

Possibly that your service provider has IC as one of those sites that doesn't comply with their own access policies (vodafone did that two years ago and you still can't access IC from a public library)

Hmm, I doubt it would be a block by the ISP as you wouldn't even get the IC home page (The URL would be blocked, the software doesn't just block the sign in page).

Public libraries are different - IC would probably come under the sub category of "sex" as there is a lot of reference to sex on this site, and so would be blocked by any website filtering software set to block sex sites.

I doubt you would find a council which does not filter public Internet access in this day and age.

One thing to try would be to reset the Blackberry to factory defaults. The device is probably having trouble with "cookies".

I am sure there are plenty of Blackberry users successfully using the site - I know it works fine on Android and Iphone.

I have no problems at all accessing IC, Fetlife, or even collarme from my local community library. I just do it at times when anyone under 18 is more likely to be at school and not watching over my shoulder at what I am doing....

I can access limited IC on my Orange mobile but I cannot sign in. An on screen message tells me that I need to call Orange customer services and have my settings changed to allow this (not absolutely sure of exact wording).

That's exactly what I was referring to earlier in the thread. Orange put an adult filter in by default and you need to phone and ask them to remove it.

They are totally incompetent and with mine it tends to flip back on again at random times. They initially sent me a sequence of e-mails telling me how they had enabled the adult filter ( after requesting that it was disabled ) and then off and then on etc. One has to wonder what sort of boy genius at a ( UK ) call centre is unable to work out the difference between on and off.

Furthermore it sometimes goes into a stupid mode where it regards all sites ( ie BBC news ) as adult content and blocks access, but still allows internet access for receiving e-mails, apps or IM, so it's obvious that the internet connection is functioning in every other respect. If asked to explain it, they deny that there is a filtering problem and claim that it's a local reception issue, but are unable to explain why everything else on the internet works except for browser access through their adult filter.

Orange really need to get their act together. If they insist on putting an adult filter in the way, they need to do it reliably and competently.

My ex-husband worked for Orange but left because he was so disillusioned with them so I think I'm qualified to say that there is little hope of them ever becoming competent much before Hell freezes over. Change your mobile phone supplier.

I only used my mobile to access IC when I was desperate after my laptop developed an allergy to milk. I never bothered calling them because they're staffed by complete idiots.
