Any of you girls out there used the Spanx range of suck-it-in underwear?
Or recommended a really, good brand? I'm looking for a half slip type thing to wear under skirts...

believe it or not matalan do a great range of spanx reasonable price too. iv found them to be great to wear under pencil skirts when iv been out nilla style. Good girls blush during naughty scenes in the movies. Bad girls smile because they know they can do better. | |

I think it's much nicer to have a pretty retro foundation garment than these modern things that look like lycra cycling shorts... you could try What Katie Did's 'Glamour' range of shapewear, something by Rago (available from a few places online including secretsinlace.com and openbottomgirdles.co.uk), or something from M&S as they now have quite a large and varied range of slips, control pants etc. in really lovely fabrics and designs, rather than the 'granny pants' they used to stock. | |

Thank you all for your suggestions, I'm currently investigating both Spanx and the Gok Wan range ('Girlfriend!) And yeah Raspberry I agree I love the retro wear, but it's not always as comfortable, so I save that for when I know I'm getting my kit off *winks* Kali x It's pronounced 'Car-Lee' *G* |
