It is good to spend time with family and friends and not let work or the lifestyle take precedence. So often i find my life taken up wholly with work or running the parties, attending munches etc that i don't have time to be in contact with my family and friends.
This weekend has been wonderful. I spent yesterday with my eldest daughter, my grandson and a very good friend i have not seen since Christmas. We had a great time catching up being videoed making silly faces by my grandson on his mums IPhone and just enjoying each others company. Then as i had taken home made Cornish pasties around for lunch straight from the oven my youngest daughter and her partner joined us. It was wonderful being with them all and just chilling out. My eldest is going through a bad patch at the moment as she is only now coming to terms with her Dad's death nearly 3 years ago. I had something to tell her and we both sat there crying. Jack my grandson went and got kitchen roll for us both without being asked and kept wiping his Mum's tears away. Today he wouldn't let her look at photos as it made her cry. For 5 and 8 months he is very perceptive.
Today i spent a lovely time at Snetterton Market with Rebel Angel and Kinky Vidushka and we had a great time just wondering chatting and drinking tea.
Thank you both for your company and we will miss Mike on Wednesday but have a great holiday xxxx

we keep the family and friends bit going as well as scene stuff but it is hard work. 
it's also nice to catch up with everyone glad you had a good time
