ok I've had a bad week. Monday was pretty stressful at work so was too tired to do anything other than make dinner when we got home, even that was a cheat quick dinner. Tuesday went to work with a monster headache and really sore upper back and arms (no reason I can think of for it). Tuesday after lunch in work the week went worse. I was roasting hot so ditched my boots and tried to make myself more comfy. So while I was doing my audit check my vision went all blurry and I got very dizzy.
I do the sensible thing and say to my supervisor hoping to be allowed away from my desk to go get some air. I must have looked like crap because he insisted on getting a first aider, who then told me he was taking me to A&E (a few people who normally just smile and say hello in the office had asked me if I was ok on Monday and Tuesday so guess I was looking like shit). So the calls were made to Scott to let him know and to my folks to meet me at the Southern so the first aider could get back to work and I wasn't waiting on my own.
The nurse who does the initial check to assess didn't even let me go get my things before taking me through to cubicles where I'm handed a bag for my clothes and a gooney. So roll on my first ever ECG hook up, my BP had been high and breathing wasn't good either so I guess they didn't want to take any chances. After what seemed like ages Scott arrived and then the doctor came in to see me, took bloods, did the history thing and neuro exam. I got another ECG and more bloods taken after some of them were lost. No clue as to what caused it but was sent home with antibiotics for an infection I didn't know I had and told to rest.
Went to the GP the next day as still unsteady and have barely left bed since then. Scott has been great even getting me food I love but he hates. Just hope I'm up and about soon but I'm taking things as they come just now.
