I wish I could give everyone good news but I'm not able to I'm afraid.
Mollie is still with us but is getting weaker. She's now eating very little and a feeding tube was to be fitted today but she has refused this. Whilst she's aware of peoples presence even though appearing to be asleep she very rarely interacts although she is given to moments of clarity which is always lovely to see.
She has now been moved in to a side room to give her a little more privacy and peace.
The palliative radiotherapy is on hold for now as she is too weak to cope with it.
With every visit your good wishes and love have been passed on to Mollie for which she has smiled and appreciated.
A few weeks ago when Mollie was first diagnosed she asked me if I would mind being her go between, you could say, to pass on information on the boards and to keep everyone updated as she was having trouble seeing clearly and did not want to trouble her family as they already had enough to cope with. Of course I agreed to do this for her and as she requested on the boards if anyone would like to know anything please contact me or MoK. I know she does not want her son and daughter troubled as they have enough on their minds already. I will not broadcast detailed information on the boards because you can never be sure who's looking in. Any questions asked that it is not my place to answer I will consult Mollie's family every time when it is convenient for them and then get back to you as soon as I have an answer so I hope you'll bear with me and respect Mollie's wishes.
Again I thank you, Mollie's family thank you but most importantly Mollie herself thanks you all for your prayers, love, good wishes and hugs you're sending her way.

Dear Raven. Thank you for providing these updates on Mollie. My heart and thoughts are obviously with Mollie and her family during these sad, hard days. But they are also with you for the true friend you are, not just to Mollie and her family but also to all the GG's who have rallied round (in the face of bile, bitterness and spite from one particular quarter) and worked together to keep Mollies spirits up. You are truly a Lady with a huge heart full of kindness for others. I'm thinking of you as well at this time just as I am sure Mollie is since, like yourself, she always puts others first. ICM Have you any idea how effective government censorship is?..... No?..... Effective isn't it ! | |

Thank you for keeping us up to date with your post ...Raven Its not been easy for you , as I know you two are very close. Its times like this , that the special people like you come out of the wood work to show your selves , bearing as you do the good as well as the bad news... Molly is in all our prayers,( as it should be ) but I think a little one for you as well, is called for. Thank you again C-H

ALL hugs, kisses, love, prayers and best wishes are relayed to Mollie and she hears them and I know she appreciates them so thank you. Thank you also for the very kind words and good wishes for myself you're very kind and thoughtful but really my task is very small and easy to do in comparison to Mollies. I am just a friend who's acting as Mollie's voice as she can't do this for herself online.
