It is held in this comfortable pub which has an ample car park, and is close to Junction 32 of the M4 and Public Transport links to the City Centre.

The Cardiff munch is open to consenting adults (i.e. age 18 and over) who have an interest in bdsm.

We are very friendly. You will spot us inside the pub by looking for our cuddly mascot Jones The Dragon and we are happy to Meet and Greet you outside if you wish. There are no pressures, and if you are prompt good Carvery meals are available at very reasonable prices.

We share the bar with the pubs regular clientelle, so dress code/behaviour is Strictly Vanilla and you must enjoy yourself.

The Cardiff Munch is not connected to any other events or organisations, we do not endorse or oppose any causes, engage in controversy, or become involved in disputes. We do all that we can to foster a spirit of openness, fellowship and mutual support in the local Bdsm/Fetish community.

However, as in the rest of life, there are always risks, so it is wise to be on your guard especially if you are new to the munch and The Scene: if you are tempted by a beguiling proposition and would like to check out your new best friend please feel free to ask some of the organisers or regulars - they won't mind. Also, we have the Femsubs Group and the Malesubs Group which discusses many topics, including staying safe.

Getting to know you: Over recent months we have had record numbers at The Munch, so, if anyone who is about to attend for the first time might feel a bit overwhelmed entering a large group of strangers there is the opportunity, from September 2009, to meet some of the organisers for a chat on the Tuesday evening in the week before each Munch: please telephone or send one of us a Memo for details.

There are far to many so called Doms and Dommes who pounce on newbies and its sometimes easy for us "old timers" to forget that newbies dont want to appear idiots and dont always know the etiquet, and what is accepted behaviour. They sometimes then allow things to happen that they would normally not accept.

Very well said that Munch, I'll also be including something similar for the Bath munch.
