Ok - I have two hands I know, but I still struggle to put my corset on myself and it's been a while since I tried. Any seasoned corset wearers out there with tips? I personally like to fasten the strings over the bed post / bannister / door handle and gently walk forwards as you tease the laces from top to middle and then bottom to middle. Lady Emma

I usually fasten at the front, and then a few hard pulls, then tighten each strap individually, then pull hard again.

Dittto. I also opt for the "getting it almost right then asking someone to finish tightening it for me when I get to where I am going" option. Practice makes perfect etc etc. Good luck! Rx

Lots of practise helps- When I first started wearing mine, it was a nightmare, now I can easily get one on in under a minute. There's some good tips here

Open the lacing up, but make sure there's at least a handful each side to pull on.. Put it on and fasten at the front - then just tighten the main part of the laces? It may help to work on individual laces before again pulling on the main laces; I also find if you thread one main loop through the other, you can pull together from the sides, or even front - and it's easy then to pass round the front, to tie off, if so desired? Remember, if you then wear it for half an hour it will warm and fit to your shape - you can then get it significantly tighter, if you wish? Nicki
