So long as they the world has mirrors - I'll pass on the public nudity! Why is it most nudists seem to be the very people who make one feel eeeuuuggh! The nudist thing that cracks me up is naked people walking around a supermarket with trolleys....'getting back to nature pre-structured -society', 'living like nature intended'? erm - in a supermarket? And why are they almost invariably German?

In truth there isn't a single person on the planet who loooks great naked who does not look even better clothed - especially in evening dress or tux.

I was a child naturist, from the age of 7 days old till about 13 years (when I decided to be a goth!) My parents are still members of the naturist club and I still visit from time to time. I've seen hundreds of naykid people over my life time of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Because being naked is something completely banal and natural to me, I think this may have led me to becoming OBSESSED with clothing, costume and artifice. Nudity doesn't turn me on. Layers upon layers of formal clothing, do!

i'm really intrigued!

presumably, because the element of tabboo was removed from nudity for you (?) would you say that this helped you to become less critical of your own body as a result?

Unfortunatley, this is far from the truth. Some of the older kids at the club used to bully me and picked on me for being fat. And in the outside world, so did the kids at secondary school. So long as society insists on reminding those who eat too much (for their own individual reasons) that they are disgusting, asexual and ugly, forever shall they stay self-hating.

The current trend that makes me want go out and KILL are articles in trash magazines applauding celebrities for loosing their baby weight in a matter of days. THEY ARE EVEN DEMONISING MOTHERHOOD NOW!

However, I continue to rebel against these unjustifiable constraints by being one of the most, fabulous fat birds in the known universe. x

i love being naked :) i am one of those people that loves being naked when the other person is dressed . which dosent mean i don't like my partner naked, i love them naked too. but i do enjoy those times when i am the naked one.

it's many things; it's childish, it's vain, it's submissive, it's free, relaxing, exciting and attention seeking all at once. more probably hehe

being naked, relaxed in company is just so warm and yummy. being naked as part of a sex-play feels delishiously naughty.

i've always been envious of the naked confidence of life models. one day i'd like to try that from the other side of the drawing fence. have never been to a nudist place either, it's an opportunity i'd love to have. I did once plan to go to the 'starkers' club, but wussed out at the bus stop lol s'the kinda thing i joined here for, doing such things on your own is bound to be more difficult.

now ive ordered my ticket for the CFMN event :) and it will be my first time naked amongst more than one person. that i'll be sharing my nudity with lots of other guys will make it all the more interesting to see how i feel in a real situation. i was always a shy one at school sports showers, got butterflies already, and i'm really looking forward to it.

I am usually relaxed and assured about being naked. It is quite contextually specific. The story related in my earlier post, was a nude in public ,everybody else dressed scenario. I guess it is highly dependent upon who and how many are looking. CFNM has been a vibrant blast!!! Being caned in the nude in front of an audience was just something else.....

I'm turning the question around.

Being Naked: I'm comfortable with that. It's just my body. Everyone has one. Why should I have to have issues over it? Why should it be a shameful thing?

We put clothes on it to be warm and to conform to "Society norms".

I HATE that Society has equated simple "Nudity" to being "Wrong/Shameful", as being "Unnatural" (When is it clearly anything but!), and also as "Automatically Sexualised" (Citing cases of people simply taking pictures of their children in the bath tub, or at the beach, and then getting prosecuted as potential Paedos, and of the body fascism that is imposed on us by the media)

So, whilst I'm very happy being naked as and when, I also love and enjoy using Clothes to make it look hot.

As with all things in my life, Balance.

I love what you say here :)

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice :)xx

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm a little suprised that when everyones naked together, the environment can be something other than supportive (although ind you, I've been at events where people have had something to say about other people when they're naked and it's really not nice...it takes a lot to go naked in public and it's so horrible when people chose to be anything other than supportive of others in such an environment!)

I too really hate how women are applauded for loosing their "baby weight", it's almost like the magazines that applaud them are saying "well done for quickly hiding the fact that your body changed, albeit as part of a natural and beautiful process!"

I read somewhere once that the biggest issue people have with their bodies is the way that they change and they wish they had the body that they had X ammount of years ago. This is something I can relate to very muchly. Recently a friend said to me "how would you feel if you were a size 10" to which I replied "I would feel like the most powerful woman in the world" but as great as I would feel, I'm cautious to put myself through the process of such a transformation as I've been there and done that and still felt bad which would suggest to me that it's maybe mind over matter (?)...(I'll let yas know is I ever find a happy medium grr lol)

I think it's partly because despite being the "right" weight for height, I have a body that's difficult to dress - I've got an average torso but very short legs, and I struggle to find trousers or skirts (especially skirts!) that don't make me look out of proportion, especially since I have quite wide hips.

I generally prefer the way I look without clothes on. I've got the usual lumps and bumps that are supposedly imperfections, but I'm not particularly bothered about them.

yes yes yes yes and yes!

at least when nekkid, the worry of how clothes don't flatter you becomes somewhat irrelevant. I remember when I started puberty and I hated how my shape was evolving and I used to think "life would be so much easier if everyone was nakid"...I was never able to find clothes that fitted me well :( (on reflection, maybe my parents were taking me to the wrong shops coz they couldnt handle the fact that I needed womans clothes at the age of 12...so be it lol)

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice :)xx

Do you love being naked?

Hi everyone I'm writing a feature for Forum about public nudity and how liberating it is to be naked in places where nudism is allowed (nudist clubs, private swinging and fet clubs, naturist beaches, gym changing rooms, the naked bike ride etc). Does anyone have any comments on this? Scene names or pseudonyms can be used.

Also, if you would like to email me a high res pic of yourself naked along with a comment to editor@ukforum.co.uk, I may well use it in the mag. Please mark it clearly 'for Sarah's pleasure only' or 'for print' as appropriate. Do not send naked pics of anyone else or bad things will befall you.

Interesting thread....From experience people seem to be very prude about being naked ! But it seems ok to be spanked, perhaps this because its more main stream and being naked will never be.....

I never thought of it like that but yeah, the fact that I find being naked more humiliating than being spanked is almost kinda sad (as in boo hoo) in a way!
