IMNHO, hell bunny is truly an ugly brand, and LDS is dreadfully overpriced. I'd like to be proven wrong, but we'll see

Yes, can't remember the name but went in there recently on a trip darn sarf. Apparently she makes the dresses too so can do other sizes and tweaks to the stles. You can dress a pig in a tutu but it will never be a ballerina......

Afflecks Palace in Manchester has a few bits and pieces in Gothic Lolita style - not a huge range but at least a couple of the shops in there sell that style. Personally I go for E-Bay and get the made to measure outfits which tend to come up a similar price as the shops except you get it tailor made. If you search 'cosplay' you'll find a broader range than just searching 'gothic lolita'. "Don't Dream It - Be It" - The Rocky Horror Show 1973

Lolita clothing styles in Japan include the following brands: Baby the Stars shine Bright ( or Btssb), Alice and the Pirates, h.Naoto, Metamorphose,
Takuya Angel,( I have had the pleasure of meeting this designer Peace, Sexy dynamite London. These aren't really available in stores here, unlike the GLP range. However, googling them or ebaying the words comes up with some interesting pages including: http://clothing-drop.com/boutique/index.php Please be aware though, the sizes are made for japanese girls, so a large size is only around a size 10 in the UK. The two best places to get GLP from is in the Camden Market, although i know 'Enter the Asylum' Shop ooop north do carry some and may be nearer to you.

Equally as unhelpful, but there are some fabulous gothic-lolita clothing specialists on ebay. I order all of my goth-lolita clothes from Japan, as they're resonably priced, made to measure, and quite unlike anything I've seen in the stores up in Camden. If it would be any help I could provide some links to particularly good sellers?
Edit: -points at own photo- all clothing shown there came from the lolita store ^^ Though not the best example of lolita I must say...They do much cuter stuff as well Edited 3 May 10, 11:11 PM by Innocentgirl |
