Thanks to everyone who came - another great afternoon and evening! There were 13 people this time, and the topics ranged from how O&P-D/s-M/s relates to the rest of BDSM, to films and books that influenced people, and many aspects of people's relationships in between. Thanks to you, Tanos, for organising the meet! I had a wonderful time, met some great people. It was great hearing everyone's opinions, and actually I'd never sat down and discussed this sort of thing with other Doms/Owners before, I'd only ever discussed my ideas with sub females in the past, so that was an interesting experience.
I loved that it was more of an organised discussion rather than just a mini-munch with people gathering in groups of three or four and having their own little conversations. I hope I didn't come across as a naive wannabe Owner Looking forward to the next one, I've made a note in my diary... | ||

Really enjoyed this meet. Think combining the next one with Dystopia is a brill idea, specially for those of us who have to travel to Manchester. It was great to chat again with peeps we'd met before, and meet new people (and Dragonfyre we enjoyed chatting with you - you came across as sensible, thoughtful and caring, no naive about it ) | ||

Great day and very imformative. I do feel that those who are in the O+P group who haven't attended the "munch" should try to attend one. As a single sub it was interesting to get those who are in a relationship's take on how they see O+P and tbh the board had started to become a little stale for me as i didn't see how it fitted into my life. It has been a great learning curve and from the early stages when i was actively involved to now it is great to see how the group and concept has evolved and moved on in a positive way. I also had a brill time at the meal and feel a new group coming on with Mia and the IC ghost being the main confessor's . It will be called the confession's box. Because some secret's where revealed yesterday. And no holly never worked for the gestapo but i think a certain dom might have. Another one bites the dust. | ||

Na, its not. I've found the meets very useful, because it's double reassured me that its ok not to be "perfect". So, if I have a tantrum, it doesn't mean I'm not submissive, but that I'm human and that the O/p dynamic leads to that sort of thing happening every once in a while. After all, if it was easy, it'd be dead boring | ||

It came across yesterday that you and your partner have found the right balance and i am sure Jules will agree with me. It is the type of dynamic that we strive for. Shame you missed the meal btw hope you had a good time

Yes, we were saying we wished we had been able to stay for that. Hopefully there will be another meal though again soon |
