Your's are also very revealing I think. They can seem a bit creepy at times, to me. I get the impression that there is more to them than meets the eye, something concealed, and I don't know if they're playful or little digs at someone.

Funnily enough I've long since given up on writing "meaningful" blogs on IC - not worth the effort. Not sure what is "creepy" about blogs like "Pesto & Chips" or "more than meets the eye". Yes as a recent one intimated it amuses me to put a title to a trivial blog to see the "crash gawpers" coming in to read about my misfortune only to see something else The person who this particular blog is about (and most aren't about anyone)knows about it and it is far from being a dig , more a compliment in fact.
No cigar this time. Try again

Trying again: No, I mean a good few of them seem so enigmatic as to be slightly sinister, not necessarily in context at all, but as so much is left unsaid its hard not to fill in the gaps - you leave questions lingering in the air. (THATS IT!) like - who's blogs - what did he find so fascinating in them? Like a gothic detective novel by Wilkie Collins, it has atmospheric fog, which 'is' creepy. What does he mean by this blog? Why has he written it? The blogs I'm thinking of have that quality to them - questions left unaswered, that seem set up to be left unanswered. I read them and think, this message is not meant for me. It does not attempt to express a common feeling or experience with me. Some of your blogs just seem very private, and therefore bemusing.

I've explained this before: this site is a cover for message delivery and retrieval by the CIA. That's the reason there are so many broken hearted posters disillusioned with the people they meet on here. Simples. ('Thunder' is station head for Uzbeckisthan I'm pretty sure. You think his posts are enigmatic, you should hear what they say about them at the decoding HQ in Virginia.) My object all sublime...

what they actually say is "where the hell is Uzbeckisthan ?" be a switch, double your fun

Its an example of power. Powrr, good or bad, is often seen in the withholding of information. Ooooo, he's like a king sitting on his throne, slightly hunched forward, chuckling to himself. Is it a pleasant sound, or one that strikes fear and dread in his subjects? One does wonder... *smile* Ah, but then the kettle boils and one is brought crashing back to one's mundane little world where nothing happens or is ever likely to happen, and you think 'hell with it!' and open that packet of biscuits you'd been saving.

The "private bemusing" ones I find fascinating are by a certain Dom who doesn't publish them and one only knows they are there by clicking the "weblogs" link on his profile
Full of bile and often hatred

One has the option under Chat, Weblog and Web Board settings to have one's blogs listed or not. If not listed they don't appear in the weblogs section. I've given up writing any really meaningful or personal blog (or whom I'm seeing etc. ) some time ago. mainly use IC now to keep in touch with friends to see what is going on etc and yes the "mutual admiration societies" can be a bit hard to digest
